Erika Tizya-Tramm

Erika Tizya-Tramm is the Manager of Community Partnerships with Northern Energy Innovation at Yukon University. A proud citizen of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation, Erika is a dedicated advocate for Indigenous Nation rebuilding, with a focus on advancing environmental stewardship and sustainability. As a woman, mother, and community leader, she has successfully led transformative, Indigenous-driven initiatives in land use planning, policy and legislative development, and renewable energy projects that prioritize energy sovereignty and reduce carbon footprints.

Erika is passionate about blending innovative approaches, traditional knowledge, and strong partnerships to create resilient and sustainable futures for Indigenous communities. In her personal life, she cherishes quality time with family and friends, drawing strength and inspiration from her connections to both people and place.
