Patrick Keenan

Patrick Keenan

Hailing from the vibrant city of Winnipeg and finding solace in the serene woods of the Yukon since 2013, his musical journey began at the age of six. As a singer-songwriter and pianist, he’s woven tales inspired by life's contrasts and diverse landscapes.

His musical canvas reflects dual passions—poetry and melody. Having released two albums, 'As Constant As the Northern Car' (2004) and 'Washed Out Roads' (2008), he’s now on the cusp of unveiling 'Enthymemes.' Taking inspiration from the evocative writings of Yukon wordsmith Peter Jickling this collection of ten songs fuses literature and music that is characterized by its immediacy and pop-sensibilities.

'Enthymemes' stands as a testament to storytelling through music, inviting audiences into a world where earworms and poetic verse tell a uniquely northern tale. This forthcoming release embodies Keenan’s artistic evolution, a journey that took him from the prairie winds of Winnipeg to the captivating landscapes of the Yukon.
