Peter Jickling

Peter Jickling is a Whitehorse based writer. He has an honours degree in philosophy from the University of Lethbridge. His play, Syphilis: A Love Story, was first produced in Whitehorse by Ramshackle Theatre in 2011. It subsequently toured western Canada, winning Best Comedy at the Victoria Fringe Theatre Festival. Peter’s debut poetry collection, Downtown Flirt, was published by Guernica Editions in 2019. It documents life in Toronto from a Yukoner’s perspective. Currently, he is working on a screenplay, a novel, and a second poetry collection. He teaches English at Yukon University.
