Pictures Don’t Lie is a 20-minute documentary about a First Nations Elder, JJ Van Bibber and the story of his life in the Yukon Territory.

In Canada’s far north, the Van Bibber family lived on the land, farming, hunting, trapping and fishing. Through his photographs, JJ Van Bibber tells the story of his life growing up in the Yukon. Of mixed heritage, JJ and his family sat on the fence between two cultures.
